- 7 apples, cut in quarters
- ½ cup water
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon

Makes: 2 1/2 cups
Step 1: Wash apples and cut into quarters. Apples can be peeled, but that means less fiber!
Step 2: Combine apples and water in saucepan. Heat to a boil. Turn heat to low as soon as the water boils.
Step 3: Simmer over low heat for 15 to 20 minutes or until apples are tender. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Step 4: Stir in sugar. Heat until sugar is dissolved.
Step 5: Stir in cinnamon before serving, then enjoy this holiday treat!
