Episode Summary

Elmo, Rosita, and Telly are scientists! They start like all good scientists, by asking a question. Inspired by seeing Leela give Barkley a bath, they ask: Does everyone on Sesame Street take a bath? Telly has a hypothesis: No, not everyone on Sesame Street takes a bath. Now it's time to investigate and observe who suds up and who doesn't. The happy scientists draw pictures in their science journal as they go.

Their conclusion? All creatures on Sesame Street take their own kind of baths. Chris takes a bath in a bathtub, cats lick themselves, a sparrow takes a dust bath, an owl takes a sun bath to get rid of germs. Even Oscar takes a mud bath in his trash can.

Telly's a little miffed that his hypothesis was wrong, but Gordon explains that it's okay to be wrong in science. The most important part is the steps you take to get your answer. Come join this funny, furry celebration of the scientific process!
