Episode Summary

When there's a lot for Gordon to fix at 123 Sesame Street, Susan and Chris suggest he hire a superintendent, but Gordon stubbornly insists he doesn't need help.

Then The Count comes along to count broken things—and three things become five, as the gate and drainpipe break. The Count suggests that Gordon gets a super, and Gordon gets even more frustrated. Super Grover flies in to save the day, and breaks a light in the process. Then the door breaks. The Count is now counting seven broken things.

Maria asks Gordon if he needs help, and Gordon finally agrees. Together, they fix everything. Gordon says thank you, and asks Maria if she would like to be the super. Ta-da! Maria is now Super Maria.
