Episode Summary

Happy birthday to Stinky the plant! Elmo surprises Stinky by giving him a drum, but plants can't hold drumsticks. Then Zoe brings him a pretty tutu. Stinky tries to dance, but again, can't. After all, he is a plant in a pot.

Next, Rosita brings Stinky a guitar and Cookie Monster brings a plate of cookies. But, of course, plants can't play guitar or eat cookies. Then, when Big Bird ties balloons to Stinky's pot, Stinky begins to fly away! (Chris rescues him and brings him back safely to the ground.)

Chris reminds Elmo that they should think about what Stinky would like, not what each of them would like. Hmmm…he already has soil, so he needs water, sunlight, and love. Big Bird puts Stinky's pot on a table in the sun, Cookie Monster waters him, and Zoe and Rosita give him a big hug. Let the party begin!
