Episode Summary
Elmo is wearing his special basketball shirt, he has his special basketball in hand, and he has plenty of energy from eating a healthy snack. He is ready to play ball! Yet he can't seem to make a basket.
Seeing how frustrated her friend is, Abby steps in to help. She casts a spell on the ball that makes it impossible for Elmo to miss. Elmo should be thrilled with his sudden mastery of the sport, but he can't shake the feeling that something's missing.
Then Leela shows up. Elmo explains the situation and she helps him figure out the problem—he's making the baskets because of magic, not because of his own hard work.
Abby reverses her spell and with a few pointers from Leela and some practice, Elmo is able to score all by himself. He is proud and everything feels just right.
