Episode Summary

Oscar is taking a class in Grouchology, in which the golden rule is to observe, record, and annoy! And it's time for his first investigation: "What do worms like to squirm on best?" Professor Messla challenges him to set up an experiment in which he observes (watches closely and carefully), records (writes down what he discovers), and, of course, annoys someone along the way.

At Hooper's Store, Oscar pours coffee grinds and olive oil on Alan's nice clean counter. Observing the worms in the mess, he makes notes on his chart. He concludes that most of the worms like to squirm in the olive oil. And Alan's annoyed—yay!

After several more equally irritating investigations, Oscar's earned his stinky diploma in Grouchology. Time for a loud, annoying party.
