Episode Summary

Mary Mary Quite Contrary has dumped a pile of dirt outside Oscar's trash can. Her plan is to grow a garden with silver bells and cockle shells, but Gordon tells her that gardens need to grow living things, like vegetables, fruits or flowers. Sounds like a great idea to Mary Mary.

But Oscar is not pleased, and has the elephant Fluffy squirt water at her in hopes of getting her to move. Next, he sends over Hairy Hairy, from the Grouch nursery rhyme, with stinky weeds and moldy seeds and three pigs, to no avail.

But it turns out Oscar actually kind of likes the horrible smell from the stinky weeds, and the loud noises from the pigs. Grouch paradise! When Mary Mary finds this out, she decides to move the garden. After all, she likes to be contrary and do the opposite of whatever anyone wants her to do!
