Episode Summary

Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk comes to Sesame Street with a big problem: he needs a beanstalk. He knows he's supposed to trade the cow for something, but doesn't know what. Leela gives him a clue—find something that grows in the ground.

Jack quickly returns with a duck. That won't work. Leela tells Jack to find something that rhymes with "jeans," and Jack comes back with a tambourine in each hand. Um, no again. Jack's getting a little discouraged. Will he ever grow a beanstalk? Leela gives him one more clue—look for something little. He comes back with a handful of beans—they match all the clues!

Jack plants the beans in the garden, and eventually, a huge beanstalk shoots up. Watch with your child and watch reasoning skills grow, just like Jack's beanstalk!
