Episode Summary

Peep peep! A baby bird appears on Sesame Street. Elmo, Rosita, and Chris think the bird is peeping because he's hungry, and Big Bird suggests feeding him birdseed. But before they know it, the baby bird gobbles up Cookie Monster's granola cookie and begins trying to flap his wings.

Elmo and Rosita decide they will teach the baby bird to fly. Nothing they try works, so Abby puts a flying spell on the bird. Uh-oh! The spell works on Chris instead.

Chris reminds Abby she doesn't need magic to teach the bird how to fly—she should use her own wings to demonstrate. Yay, the baby bird begins to fly! Just then, the mommy bird perches on Chris's shoulder and soon she and the baby bird fly off together.

Bye-bye, baby bird. Life's all about teaching and learning!
