David Rudman


David's Biography

Since David Rudman began performing on Sesame Street in 1985, he has brought several characters to life, including Baby Bear, Cookie Monster, and Two-Headed Monster.

In 2004, his work as Baby Bear and Cookie Monster earned him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Performer in a Children's Series.

In addition to Sesame Street, Rudman has worked on a wide range of television programs, from Dinosaurs to Saturday Night Live, as well as several major primetime specials. He has written and directed several live-action and animated films for Sesame Street, MTV, Nickelodeon, and Comedy Central.

Rudman's film credits include The Muppets Take Manhattan, The Muppet Christmas Carol, Labyrinth, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland.

Rudman is a creator and executive producer of Nick Jr. Baby's Curious Buddies home videos. He is co-creator, co-executive producer, and director of Jack's Big Music Show on Noggin and Playhouse Disney's Bunnytown
