Sesame Playlists
Take your child on a fun-filled learning adventure!
Sesame Playlists are a collection of games and videos that we have carefully selected to provide your child with just the right mix of entertainment and education.
Each weekday, a member of the Sesame Street Muppet family presents a featured playlist with content grouped around an educational theme, such as "The Color Orange Day" or "Jumping Rhymes Day." A playlist includes seven games or videos; some are all videos, others are all games, and some are a combination of the two. Games have a blue label and videos have an orange label, so you'll quickly and easily spot the difference.
When you and your child select a playlist, it will load in a player on a new page. Below the player, you'll see a timeline with a picture representing each of the seven games and videos. Select an image and your playlist starts. A progress bar shows how far along you are and which game or video is coming up next. Select any of the items in the list to play them at any time - you don't have to watch or play the videos and games in order. If you need to take a break from watching a video, you can hit pause and watch the rest later. You can also build your own playlists by choosing from thousands of games and videos on our website!
You can view playlists in PlaySafe mode without navigation (learn more about PlaySafe here). You can also add your favorites to your child's My Street page, so you can view them again next time you visit. And you can share favorites with your friends by e-mailing them a link to the playlist.
Sesame Playlists are great interactive learning experiences -- and loads of fun. Go play!
PlaySafe

Simplify and secure your child's online experience.
The PlaySafe feature gives you the control to set up a simple, "gated" environment for your child to experience Sesame Street's games and playlists. PlaySafe mode prevents children from navigating away from the page you have selected for them, allowing you to continue taking responsibility for their online experience.
Here's how PlaySafe works:
- The PlaySafe button is located at the top right of all game and playlist pages. Clicking on this button will re-load the page in PlaySafe mode.
- Once you enter PlaySafe, your child can interact with games and playlists, but cannot navigate away from the page.
- To exit PlaySafe, type the keyboard combination Alt + P + S. This is a simple exit tool for parents and caregivers, but a little more difficult for preschoolers.
- PlaySafe is currently supported in Internet Explorer 6 and 7 using Windows XP or Vista, and will gradually be released across other platforms. Please note: If you are using Internet Explorer 7, entering PlaySafe mode will cause you to lose all open tabs in your browser.
