Misfortunate Mr. Johnson has a knack for receiving bad service wherever he goes. He is usually found at Charlie’s Restaurant, waiting for Waiter Grover to bring him a hamburger or a bowl of soup. Sometimes referred to as “Fat Blue”, Mr. Johnson is always in a hurry. Whenever Grover gets his order wrong at Charlie’s, Mr. Johnson usually lets out a long sigh and wonders, “Why do I keep coming back to this restaurant?”
It was perhaps Grover who best described Mr. Johnson with a little rhyme he made up to remember who had ordered a hamburger, “In a hurry to be fed, beady eyes and big, blue head!”
