Curly Bear is the youngest member of Sesame Street’s Bear family, which also includes Mama Bear, Papa Bear, and older brother Baby Bear.
When Curly Bear was born to Mama and Papa Bear in Season 34, Baby Bear had to get used to the idea that he was no longer the baby of the family. The toddler-age Curly Bear is very close with her older brother, whom she calls “Bebo.” Baby Bear teaches his little sister about the world and introduces her to new, healthy foods.
One of Curly Bear’s notable characteristics is her powerful growl – it’s louder than Baby Bear’s and Papa Bear’s! Baby Bear is not pleased about this, but Papa Bear helps him see that instead of feeling jealous, he should be happy to have a sister with such a fantastic growl.
