About the Character
Miles is Susan and Gordon’s adopted son. He is good friends with Maria and Luis’s daughter, Gabi, and the two graduated from high school together in 2006. Although Miles was shy when he was younger, he grew into a fun loving teenager, even forming his own band. Miles occasionally works as an assistant in Hooper’s Store.
About the Actor
A native New Yorker, Faison is an actor, singer, and musician. He has worked in television, film, and commercials. Faison joined the Sesame Street cast in 2003, during the show’s 34th season. He is the third actor to play Miles Robinson, after Miles Orman and Imani Patterson.
When Faison is not hard at work with Sesame Street, he is a lead singer and the guitarist for the Universal/Motown group Imajin. He is the youngest brother of actor Donald Faison, who stars in the NBC sitcom Scrubs.
