About the Character
The Other Mr. Noodle appeared on the show from 2000 to 2003. He was the brother of Mr. Noodle, who frequently appears in Elmo’s World. The Other Mr. Noodle delighted children with his hilarious process of learning through trial and error, embodying the fun of exploration and discovery, and letting children know that it’s okay to make mistakes. The character became hugely popular with children and adults alike.
About the Actor
Michael Jeter was an award-winning actor who brought emotion and humor to his work. He won an Emmy in 1990 for his work on the television show Evening Shade, and that same year received a Tony for his depiction of a terminally ill vacationer in the Broadway musical Grand Hotel. He also appeared in movies, including The Green Mile, The Fisher King, and Patch Adams. Jeter passed away in 2003.
