What is My Street?

My Street is a customizable Sesame Street web space for you and your child. You can save your favorite games, videos, and playlists and upload a photo to your very own Sesame Street web page.

 

Do I have to pay for My Street?

No. The entire Sesame Street site is free for users.

 

Do I need special software to use My Street?

No, you only need the minimum required browsers and Flash. If you have a question about your browser, please read our site specifications.

 

Can I sign up for more than one My Street account?

Yes, you can sign up for as many accounts as you want. Please remember that one child per registered account.

 

Why do I have to pick a nickname?

We don’t collect any information about your child via e-mail. Therefore, we need to identify each user with a nickname.

 

Why am I being asked to pick a different nickname?

This means that another user has already chosen this nickname. Please think of a different nickname or select one from the suggested choices.

 

Can I change my nickname after it has been created?

No, once the nickname is created it cannot be changed.

 

I have forgotten my password. How do I log into My Street?

Click on the link that says “Forgot your password?” and follow the instructions.

 

How do I delete my child’s My Street account?

My Street accounts automatically get deleted after 180 days of inactivity.

 

How do I add an item to my child’s My Street account?

You can add favorite videos, games, and playlists to your child’s My Street account. Click on the “Add to My Street” button to add an item.

 

How many favorite items I can display on my child’s My Street account?

You can choose to display 4, 20, or 35 favorite items.
